The Waterloo Summit Centre for the Environment is hosting its Environment Lecture Series.

Our lectures are open to the public, discussing various issues and topics relating to Canada's changing environment. We look forward to you joining us. 

Topic: Wild Species, Wild Spaces - A discussion about Ontario's protected areas

Lecturer: Dana Buchbinder and Lyndsey Martin, Community Engagement Coordinator, Ontario Nature

This lecture will cover the species we share our province with, information about those at risk or endangered, and how residents can get involved with nature in Ontario from citizen science, to hiking in nature reserves, to joining our youth council or a local nature group. 

Lectures start at 7 pm at the Waterloo Summit Centre for the Environment at 87 Forbes Hill Drive in Huntsville, Ontario. 

Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased at the door (cash only). 

Refreshments served after.

All proceeds will go to a local bursary program.
