Health & Social Prescribing: Co-Creation
This event is one of a three-part series exploring the question "What are the benefits, barriers, and opportunities to implementing social prescribing in our community?" and is hosted in collaboration by the School of Public Health Sciences and GreenHouse social impact incubator at United College.
At this session, you will hear from HLTH 480 students about:
- Some of the challenges identified in session 1 (Sept 30)
- The health interventions
- Solutions that they are considering
You will have the opportunity to provide your own ideas and insights, share feedback, and brainstorm community-oriented solutions.
These sessions are open to the public. We hope to cultivate a diversity of perspectives from people who can share their insights and ideas on social prescribing and health challenges in Waterloo Region. As an attendee, you will interact with students in UW's Public Health Sciences program who are working towards proposing solutions on this topic in their capstone course.
