 Lighting in Ancient Greece, event information ​Dorina Moullou, Archaeologist, PhD, Directorate of Prehistoric and Classical Antiquities, Greek Ministry of Culture and Sport will present an overview of artificial lighting used in ancient Greece and its efficiency in the performance of domestic nocturnal activities (except cult practices).

The focus of the talk is to answer questions such as how Ancient Greeks lit their homes, what were their lighting devices, how and where were those devices used and how much did they cost?
