By matching academic expertise with the needs of organizations, AIMday furthers understanding and enables new perspectives on real-world problems.
Themes include:
- Sustainable aviation fuels and clean fuel technologies
- Modelling, simulation tools and digital twin applications
- Sustainable air traffic management planning and best practices
- Optimization of airport equipment, crew, airspace capacity, and flight operation
- AI and machine learning principles to improve customer experience, safety, and efficiencies in aviation
- Human factors research including education and training technologies through Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), gamification methods and other techniques that can improve performance in operation, maintenance and optimization.
