Speaker: Ali Kraushaar
Let’s Talk About Selling Weed
Working for a start up company, in the fast-paced and quickly evolving cannabis industry, always presents unique and interesting challenges everyday. In this seminar I will talk about how I am applying some of the many lessons I learned during my undergrad in KI and my MA in Philosophy to my job as the Administrative Coordinator at James E. Wagner Cultivation (JWC). I will also discuss some of the benefits and challenges to integrating knowledge and building the bridges between disciplines in my everyday work. JWC is a science- and technology-focused cannabis producer. As the company rapidly grows (no pun intended), part of my role is to support the internal infrastructure and develop policies that will govern how the company functions, while also being a bit of a “jack of all trades.”
In this seminar I will also share a little bit about my journey through University and adapting to the workplace. As well as some of the many life lessons and challenges I have faced along the way.
Alexandra (Ali) Kraushaar is currently the Administrative Coordinator for James E. Wagner Cultivation. She holds a Bachelor of Knowledge Integration (2014) with minors is Economics and International Development and a Master of Arts in Philosophy (2015). Outside of work, Ali is an avid equestrian, riding and coaching in the competitive discipline of Dressage, and enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Devo and Rambo.
