- Samir spent his summer in Aachen, Germany at the UROP international program, a research internship program for North American students, researching museum design as a tool for disseminating scientific knowledge.
- Siera worked as a research student at William Osler Health System in Brampton, including creating a clinical process involving an interdisciplinary team of social workers, personal support workers, nurse practitioners and a Geriatrician to manage residents with behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia in long term care homes.
