Let's Talk Climate Action! event poster

Are you interested in climate change? Want to learn more about actions being taken locally and around the world? How about getting involved on campus to support climate action? All of these opportunities will be available to you at a special lunch hour film screening.

Join us, Tuesday March 29 at 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Science Teaching Complex (STC), Room 0050.

The event will inspire you with three short films by UWaterloo Alumn and filmmaker, Kai Reimer-Watts. The films feature interviews with Paul Beckwith, a climate system scientist, as well as Tom Rand, a climate change expert and clean-technology venture capitalist. We’ll have a chance for discussion in between each film, and members of climate actions groups including Fossil Free UW and Waterloo Region Citizen's Climate Lobby will be there to explain how we can take action on climate change here on Campus.

Light snacks will be served at 12:15 p.m.
