Long COVID Awareness: Silent Walk

Did you know that some people experience ongoing health challenges after a COVID-19 infection? Long COVID, also known as Post-COVID Condition (PCC), affects millions worldwide, impacting daily life, work, and well-being. Join students, staff, faculty, and community members for a silent walk to support those with Long COVID and promote the need for Long COVID recognition, research, and remedy.

The walk is on March 27th at 12:00 pm starting from in front of the Health Expansion Building and will continue for 1 loop around Ring Road. Learn more about the event and register to let us know you're coming!!

CARE Kits will be handed out on March 25th in the Health Expansion Building first floor area from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm. The kits contain informational materials, stickers, masks donated by CanadaMasq, and care items like cough drops, soup packets, and more! If you would like advice on which respirator mask size would work best for you, a representative from CanadaMasq will also be in attendance.
