MasterFAST: Deconstructing Hunger 4th annual FastathonExport this event to calendar

Monday, June 19, 2017 — 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM EDT

The Fastathon is an opportunity for people of different faiths to come together and gain a better understanding of one another. It is also an opportunity for us to do something to contribute towards the one thing that we all have in common, our humanity, through raising funds to help support those affected by the famine in East Africa.

Join us as we deconstruct the idea of hunger and what it entails. How does hunger differ here in Waterloo versus Somalia? For students versus the homeless? What does being hungry mean?

The money saved from spending on food, we encourage donating it towards the Famine Relief. Non-perishable items will also be collected to donate to the foodbank.
