alumni event at the National Gallery of Canada. Raymond Laflamme, Executive Director for the Institute for Quantum Computing, will present
“Waterloo’s Ongoing Science Legacy: From Engineering and Math to the
Quantum World”.
 

Learn how five decades after the birth of uWaterloo, the university is again pioneering a bold new area: quantum information science and technology. This emerging branch of research unifies many disciplines toward a common goal – taming the quantum world to develop unprecedented new technologies.
