This three-day workshop covers an intense 17-hour curriculum designed to give beginners complete, basic programming skills to use in their studies or workplace. The workshop is organized by Women in Computer Science, a standing committee of the David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science. It is intended for everyone who wants to learn basics of programming. Over the course of the workshop, participants will learn the Python programming language through lectures and hands-on sessions, supported by a team of mentors. Coffee and
lunch will be provided for free.
