Science Outreach at the University of Waterloo is pleased to invite you to a public lecture on Friday, April 1 at the University of Guelph. The Guelph-Waterloo Physics Institute is hosting Professor David Ceperley to discuss how we can find out what is inside Jupiter and Saturn.

How can we find out what is inside Jupiter and Saturn?

Professor David Ceperley
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

Prof. Ceperley will describe how high performance computers are used to calculate the properties of hydrogen and helium under extreme conditions of temperature and pressure inside Jupiter and Saturn and thus help understand some of the most important objects in the Universe. This is a free event, but please register by ordering a ticket. Please note the venue is on the University of Guelph campus.
