Join us for an inspiring afternoon as members of the St. Paul's GreenHouse social impact incubator showcase their ideas and how they are making a difference. We’ll be announcing grants for some early-stage, high-potential ideas, and the Social Impact Fund winners will present their projects. This term, GreenHouse students have been working on issues such as land mine diffusion, sex trafficking, climate change, mental health, support services for new Canadians, and rape culture.
Also, new this term, we are happy to announce that Ilona Dougherty, an expert on youth engagement, will be the keynote speaker. Ilona is co-founder of Apathy is Boring and an Ashoka Fellow, and she will be discussing the importance of youth-led social innovation.
Finally, we will be announcing an exciting new opportunity for entrepreneurial youth from across the region.
The Social Impact Showcase promises to be an engaging event and an excellent opportunity to network with passionate students and community members.
We hope to see you there!
Food and refreshments will be provided.
