Are fear, nervousness and anxiety getting in the way of you living your best life? Join us to learn ways to unhook from and let go of anxious thoughts and behaviours!

What is CBT?

What to know more? This group uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) which is a commonly used treatment for concerns like anxiety and depression. CBT is a goal-oriented, present-focused, skills-based treatment that helps you learn about the interaction between your thoughts, feelings, and behavior. By learning to shift your anxious thoughts and behaviours, you can begin to lead a healthier and more meaningful life.

This 8-week virtual group therapy consists of weekly sessions and assigned practice tasks each week. The goals and structure of the group are designed to:

  • Facilitate an open dialogue between yourself and the group with respect to your shared experiences and anxiety.
  • Help you learn about the nature of anxiety.
  • Teach you and provide you with the opportunity to practice new anxiety fighting skills
  • You’ll get the most of out this group if you attend all eight sessions and participate in the between session tasks.
