Research Symposium 2014 showcases the breadth of Waterloo’s water research and provides an opportunity for organizations and individuals to interact with researchers and students.

The Water Institute's Research Symposium 2014 is a day-long symposium that includes a plenary session, concurrent breakout session, a roundtable discussion and poster exhibition. Key trends and emerging challenges will be the topic of the plenary session.

The three concurrent breakout sessions are concerned with the topic areas of: watershed ecohydrology, global change and resource development. After the luncheon, which will include an opportunity to wander the poster exhibition, a roundtable discussion of the future of the Great Lakes will be facilitated by David McLaughlin.

Registration is required.

The Water Institute Distinguished Lecture follows the symposium and attendees are encouraged to stay for this free public lecture.
