Waterloo Unlimited Grade 12 Road Map to Research-3 Day Program Export this event to calendar

Wednesday, November 12, 2014 — 9:00 AM to Friday, November 14, 2014 — 8:00 PM EST

Waterloo Unlimited is a unique transdisciplinary high school enrichment program for high school students from across Canada at the University of Waterloo.

It's not quite like anything you've ever done before. It's about challenging the borders of scholarship and developing higher-order skills: communication, analysis, synthesis, initiative, curiosity, responsibility, leadership, teamwork and creativity. It's about open-ended learning. It's about you, and your love of learning. We don't want to focus on a single discipline; we're more excited about integrating knowledge across disciplines. While you're at Waterloo Unlimited you'll attend classes and workshops from across Waterloo's six faculties (Arts, Applied Health Sciences, Engineering, Environment, Mathematics, and Science).

Expect an immersive, pre-university experience including an introduction to the art and science of reading academic papers, an opportunity to explore cutting-edge discoveries with professors, and the chance to engage with current student researchers.

Application deadline: Wednesday, October 8, 2014
