|Queen Elizabeth Scholars - Affordable Energy for Humanity Fellowship Program
This info session will present co-op placement opportunities at innovative social enterprises that are deploying clean energy solutions in the developing world.
Over 1 billion people worldwide have no access to electricity. These organizations are on the cutting edge of sustainable development and clean technology.
Three to five international co-op opportunities requiring candidates of varied skill-sets will be advertised to students per term between 2018-2021. The program is being led by the Waterloo Institute for Sustainable energy, who will present Fall 2018 opportunities at the info session.
In addition to employer compensation, successful students will be awarded with a scholarship of $4000+ through the Queen Elizabeth Scholars program and receive a variety of leadership and networking opportunities in the clean energy sector after completing their co-op term.
