WISE is pleased to announce a hybrid WISE Public Lecture with Dr. Shahriyar Nasirov. Please join us in person or on Zoom to discuss the dilemma of energy transition in market-driven systems.

The talk will explore the belief that liberalized markets can enable energy sector transitions, while recognizing that, as renewables grow, regulators must shift their focus from short-term efficiency to long-term transformation. This concept will be examined through lessons drawn from Chile's energy transition.
