In February 2025, FRC struck a joint Faculty Performance Review (FPR) working group with two FRC members from FAUW and two members from the University to review current faculty performance practices and to better understand differences in Faculty Performance Ratings processes and outcomes between and within faculties with the ultimate goal of improving equity in this process across the University. Since February 1, 2025, the group has met five times and a report was submitted to FRC at its June 26, 2025 meeting and discussed at several meetings following the working group’s presentation. Women in Mathematics has transformed the landscape of academic research and industry networking opportunities available to women+ students at all levels of the Faculty of Mathematics. During this time, WiM’s flagship programs have blossomed into essential infrastructure that plays a critical role in guiding women+ students to success post-graduation, achieving meaningful engagement with many hundreds of students, while largely offsetting program costs through external sponsorships obtained by way of their own independent efforts. 

This election is for one director representing the Faculty of Environment, for a one-year term: August 28, 2025 to June 30, 2026.
