The Faculty Association will be hosting our Fall General Meeting from 11:00 - 13:00 on 9 December in MC 4041 (light lunch and beverages provided). Some hot-button items for discussion:
After a lengthy period of looking at various possibilities by a broad group on campus, the University is currently considering adoption of online processing of expense claims using Concur, a US-based company with a US-hosted system. As part of the consultation process, we are organizing an information session on the privacy aspects if we were to go ahead with Concur for this purpose.
The next W3 meeting will take place on Wednesday, November 27 from 4-6pm, in the Grad House.
Due to popular demand, we’re bringing back guest speaker Dr. Heidi Engelhardt to talk to us about “Women on Steroids – How, When, Why and Why not?”.
Bring a friend! Remember that W3 is open to any woman grad, postdoc, staff member or faculty member at University of Waterloo.
Hope you all had a wonderful summer!
Now that we are back into the swing of the things, Waterloo Women’s Wednesdays will have their first meeting Wednesday, September 25 4-6pm, in the Grad House.
This month our guest will be Dr. Heidi Engelhardt who will give us an informal talk on Women on Steroids - How, When, Why and Why not?
We look forward to a great fall/winter term.
Thanks,
Priscila & Melissa
