Countering anti-Black racism in universities

Laura Mae Lindo, Member of Provincial Parliament for Kitchener Centre, is a respected activist and educator who holds both a Masters and PhD in Education. On May 19, Lindo will talk with FAUW members about what faculty can do to combat anti-Black racism in the university.

Inspired by the example of hundreds of universities around the world, including many in Canada, FAUW's Climate Justice Working Group has proposed that FAUW declare a climate emergency with specific commitments to accelerate the Association’s ambition on climate justice.
