FAUW couldn't do its work without all of our board, council, and committee representatives. We have collectively done some great work this year, and we're holding a brief online celebration of our members' efforts to make the University a better place to work.
At this event, we will also be presenting Monica Vesely from the Centre for Teaching Excellence with the FAUW Appreciation Award for her incredible work on New Faculty Orientation, particularly everything she did to help move the event online last fall. Inaugurated in 2017, these awards recognize individuals from across the University who have gone above and beyond to improve the lives of faculty members, and Monica has certainly done that.
