Reading Circle on Indigeneity and the University, Part 4Export this event to calendar

Tuesday, November 20, 2018 — 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM EST

The FAUW reading circle on Indigenizing the academy continues on November 20. Newcomers are welcome!

In this session, we are reading "Indigenization as inclusion, reconciliation, and decolonization: navigating the different visions for indigenizing the Canadian Academy" by Adam Gaudry and Danielle E . Lorenz. Please read the article in advance and identify sections you'd like to discuss with the group.

We'll meet from 2:30 to 4:00 pm on the second floor of the Grad House, with snacks. RSVPs are not required but if you know you’re coming, we'd appreciate a quick email to laura.mcdonald@uwaterloo.ca.

Past readings

At previous sessions, we read through public statements about Indigenous initiatives in academe and discussed how they might apply at the University of Waterloo.
