Retirement 101: the standard in retirement education since 1995
Gain the knowledge you need to face retirement with confidence in this proven educational course that examines retirement planning from a personal perspective.
Retirement 101® is an interactive, hands on, and relevant course that puts participants in a position of financial strength and confidence as they plan for their retirement. It provides in-depth information about the retirement planning process and addresses financial and non-financial issues that everyone thinks about or faces during the retirement stage of life.
The course runs two hours a week for four weeks. Each week will focus on one of four pillars of successful retirement planning: retirement, financial, investment and estate planning. The first session will include a 30-minute presentation about the University of Waterloo’s pension plan by Wanda Speek and Sue McGrath of Human Resources. Upon completion of the course, each participant is entitled to, but not obligated to take advantage of, a Customized Retirement Income Model. There will be no discussion of products and no attempt to sell you any service during the course.
You are welcome to bring your spouse or partner!
