Office Contest Winners Revealed

The winners of the 2017 FAUW Office Contest were revealed at the Fall General Meeting on December 6. Winners received a nameplate for their office, plus a FAUW mug and pin.

Equity and Inclusivity Award Call for Nominations – Deadline Extended to January 14

The Faculty Association’s Status of Women and Equity Committee (SWEC) is seeking nominations for its annual Equity and Inclusivity Award. The award celebrates members and/or affiliates of the University of Waterloo community whose actions have made a demonstrable impact on equity, inclusivity, and/or diversity at the University.

On October 26, FAUW held a 60th anniversary discussion exploring the unique relationship between faculty and the administration at Waterloo, and presented our first Awards of Appreciation to honour members of the University community who have made real differences in the lives of faculty members.
