FAUW is pleased to announce that we have 18 candidates running in the 2021 FAUW Board of Directors elections, which take place March 31 to April 14. There are 15 candidates for four at-large seats on the Board and three candidates for one lecturer seat.
How to choose
How you select candidates to vote for is up to you.
We've assembled candidate profiles to help you get to know the candidates and what they hope to bring to the Board.
Our "Being a Board member" page can give you a sense of what Board members do and what you might want to look for in a candidate based on the responsibilities of the role, but there are no official qualifications beyond being a voting member of FAUW.
How to vote
An online ballot will be open from March 31 until 1:00 pm on April 14. Eligible voters will receive a link to the ballot the morning of March 31 and two reminders before April 14. You will be able to select up to four candidates for the at-large seats. Members with lecturer appointments will have a second question on their ballot, to cast your vote for one candidate for the lecturer seat. Results will be announced at the Spring General Meeting and online on April 16.
Due to the technical requirements of setting up the online poll, only members who joined FAUW before March 25, 2021 will be able to access the ballot.
