Equity Committee: Request for event funding

The Equity Committee provides support for a variety of equity and diversity events across campus.

Any University of Waterloo community member hosting an event may request support/sponsorship. Our funds are allocated to approved events on a first-come, first-served basis and normally do not exceed $500 per event.

If funding is provided, we ask that the committee is publicly acknowledged on marketing materials and/or at the event, as "the Faculty Association Equity Committee." 

To facilitate our decision-making, please provide as much information as possible.

Event information
If it doesn't have one yet, a brief description is fine.
Is it a speaker, a panel, a reception? Do you have speakers lined up? (Maximum 75 words.)
Budget information
We don't need to see your whole budget, just a ballpark figure.
Also let us know if you have any non-monetary requests.
E.g. food, venue booking, travel, honoraria.
Additional information
Files must be less than 2 MB.
