The Budget and Client Services group is responsible for the safekeeping and control of financial data within the general ledger through security administration and management of the University’s Chart of Accounts. Client Services processes many of the accounting transactions to the general ledger including those from departments across campus.
Budget and Client Services staff participate in the development and maintenance of the annual operating budget and provide guidance and reporting to account holders on matters relating to the management of their financial data. The group is responsible for managing the Budgets system that tracks salary budget positions and encumbrances.
The University’s financial data is tracked through Unit4 Financial system.
