Promissory Note Step-by-Step Instructions

The Promissory Note process allows you to defer payment of some or all of your term fees because you have proof of approved funding from another source that you'll be receiving during the term, after the due date.

If you do not have any approved financial aid acceptable on a Promissory Note or you are making a payment to pay your full fees for the term, you do not need to submit the Promissory Note.

To submit the Promissory Note using your mobile device, follow the Mobile Promissory Note instructions.

If you prefer to submit the Promissory Note using your computer, follow these steps:

Log in to QUEST using your WatIAM username and password. Make sure you are on the Student Centre page.

Click on the “Finances” tab.

Paying your Tuition?

The quickest and cheapest way to make a domestic bank payment is with an online banking bill payment using your student number.  If that isn’t possible, we can also accept a certified cheque, money order, or bank draft from a Canadian bank.

To make an international tuition payment, use our GlobalPay for Students service.  The service is convenient, cheaper than a traditional wire transfer, and posts quickly to your student account.  You can also pay in the currency of your choice and get a competitive exchange rate.

Don’t forget to check the date tuition is due to avoid late fees and account holds.
