The Digital Art Specialization is open to all students majoring in Fine Arts – Studio Practice.
The Digital Art Specialization requires successful completion of six courses:
- CS 105, CS 106 – These courses are designed to offer a comprehensive introduction to practical computer programming for students with no background in the subject.
- one of CS 100, CS 200, CS 230
- FINE 228 or FINE 247,
- FINE 257 or VCULT 200,
- FINE 383/CS 383
All courses listed above in the Digital Art Specialization that are taken by a student will count towards the student's Fine Arts major average. If achievement in the non-major courses causes a drop below the major average requirements students will normally be allowed to continue in the Fine Arts major but without the Digital Art Specialization.
