It is with great sadness that we announce that Serena Lawrence (BA Fine Arts Honours 2012) passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital in Hamilton on Wednesday, September 26, 2018. Serena was an exemplary student, a lovely person and a talented artist, but most importantly she was very brave as she battled pulmonary arterial hypertension.

Fine Arts alumna Gloria Kagawa (BA 1982) has a retrospective exhibition at the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre in Toronto until October 24, 2018. The exhibition, Gate: ink and paint, is an overview of her 35-year career and encompasses painting, drawing, photography, and printmaking.
