Health and Safety

At UW Food Services we promote a safe working environment for our staff and assure that the health and safety needs of our customers, staff, and UW community are met by:

  • following guidelines, policies and procedures at all times
  • provide regular on-going training programs to our staff using a variety of methods such as classroom, online, and on-the-job
  • partner with our suppliers to deliver higher standards
  • offering our community valuable UW Food Services customer service employees standing together around a chefhealth and safety information such as our Handwashing module
  • complete regular health and safety inspections
  • taking preventative action
