Ben’s background is in visual neuroscience and his research interests relate to the development and plasticity of human visual brain areas.
Ben uses psychophysics, brain imaging and non-invasive stimulation techniques to investigate visual processing in the brain. In addition, Ben has played a key role in the development of a new video-game based treatment for amblyopia (lazy-eye) and is part of team developing new video-game based approaches for assessing visual function in young children.
