The Nintendo Wii, one of the best-selling video game consoles in history, was discontinued seven years ago, which is precisely what makes it a robust, economical and flexible platform for game-related research and teaching. This workshop will walk you through the process of turning your Wii into a versatile tool for the investigation of homebrew games, hacks and demos written for a variety of historical video game systems.
This workshop is run by Professor Darren Wershler and his students from Concordia University in Montreal. It is being presented as part of ENGL 794: Games Studies, taught by Professor Neil Randall.
