Jim Wallace is an Assistant Professor at the School of Public Health and Health Systems at University of Waterloo. His research focuses on interaction techniques for computing systems that involve multiple devices, such as smartphones, tablets, and large interactive wall displays, and how these systems can address problems in Public Health. He is also part of the Human Computer Interaction Lab. Previously, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Cheriton School of Computer Science. He graduated with a Ph.D. in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo in 2012, where he worked on computer-supported cooperative work with Stacey Scott.
