Any member of the Faculty of Environment is welcome to attend this PhD Comprehensive Examination, which provides an insight into current research activities within the Waterloo-Laurier Graduate Program in Geography.
In 2007, the Davos Declaration on Climate Change and Tourism (issued by the United Nations World Tourism Organization) declared that climate change must be considered the greatest challenge to the sustainability of tourism in the 21st century. Accumulating evidence since then further indicates that climate change requires new ideas about the sustainability of certain tourism destinations, market segments, and product development.
