The InfoRehab team and the Guelph Wellington Seniors Association co-hosted an interactive forum titled, "MY Healthcare: Seniors in Control" on June 4, 2013. The Keynote speaker, Dr. Samir Sinha, presented on Ontario's Seniors Strategy.  A panel of speakers discussed topics related to: why the system needs to focus on seniors' care, seniors' healthcare teams, when geriatric specialists are needed, and where healthcare services can be accessed from. A feedback session followed looking at gathering the perspective of seniors on the healthcare system and areas for improvement
