Dr. Kerry Byrne

Dr. Kerry Byrne completed her doctorate in Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario. Dr. Byrne developed a theoretical framework, using a constructivist grounded theory approach, to better understand the processes engaged in by spousal caregivers during the transition of their husbands/wives from a geriatric rehabilitation unit to home. Her areas of interest include family caregiving, care transitions, home care, geriatric rehabilitation, methodology, and knowledge translation.
