Jeanette Prorok is currently a part time PhD student. She received her Master of Science in Health Studies & Gerontology degree, under the supervision of Professor Stolee, from the University of Waterloo in 2010. Her Master's thesis work focused on the evaluation of a dementia education program for family medicine residents, using a mixed methods approach. Jeanette received her Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences degree with a minor in French from McMaster University in 2008.
Jeanette was a Research Coordinator with the Health Information Research Unit (HiRU) in the Department of Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics at McMaster University. She is involved with several research projects, including increasing the use of evidence-based resources in clinical practice/decision-making, examining the effectiveness of computerized clinical decision support systems, and participating in a Cochrane review on interventions for medication adherence.
