Josephine was a research associate with Dr. Paul Stolee, and completed her PhD in the Health Studies & Gerontology Department, University of Waterloo working with Dr. Ian McKillop. She is currently on faculty at Wilfred Laurier University Brantford Campus as an Assistant Professor in the Business Technology Management program, School of Business & Economics. She is a former lecturer for the University of Waterloo, Master in Public Health program and has taught in the Faculty of Business and Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University where she received her MBA. Her doctoral thesis investigated the use of electronic information exchange between healthcare providers as a measure of system-level integration.
Her research interests also include health informatics, health system performance, hospital and organizational performance measurement and evaluation, and international health governance. Josephine’s training in radiography, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine, and healthcare management experience provides her with a solid understanding of clinical workflow and a passion for health system improvement.
