Laura completed her MSc in Public Health and Health Systems at the University of Waterloo. Her thesis focused on transitional care experiences, and how those experiences may differ by care setting.
Before enrolling in the MSc program, Laura completed her BSc in Health Studies at the University of Waterloo. During her undergraduate degree, Laura completed an 8 month co-op work term with the Geriatric Health Systems Research group. In her other co-op terms, Laura worked at St. Joseph's Health Centre Guelph in the Acquired Brain Injury unit and at Cancer Care Ontario with the Diagnostic Assessment Program team. During her undergraduate degree, Laura worked part time in the Student Success Office as a Peer Success Coach and a University 101 TA, where she helped undergraduate students build academic skills.
