Friday, March 31, 2017

Professor Jennifer Clapp's March 2017 working paper is now available online: Bigger is Not Always Better: Drivers and Implications of the Recent Agribusiness Megamergers

This paper examines the political and economic dynamics surrounding the large transnational agribusiness megamergers announced in 2015 and 2016, including Dow and Dupont, ChemChina and Syngenta, and Bayer and Monsanto, and reflects on the broader implications of these deals for global environmental and food politics.
