The Global Food Politics Group (GFPG) is a diverse group of researchers based at the University of Waterloo working on projects that focus on the political, social, economic, and ecological dimensions of various global food and environmental issues. While unified in their context of global dimensions of environment and food, specific areas of interest vary with respect to topic, place and scale.

Members of the Global Food Politics Group sometimes present their research at the monthly meetings of the Waterloo Food Issues Group (WatFIG). Keep up to date with upcoming events on the WatFIG site.
