Information for

GSA-UW Temporary Unit Association Initiation and Executive Elections

The Graduate Student Association of the University of Waterloo (GSA-UW) works closely with the student associations at the faculty, department, and program level (“unit associations”) to better represent and serve graduate students. GSA-UW Policy #22 informs the requirements for and privileges of recognition by the GSA-UW.

When an academic unit does not have a unit association, the GSA-UW will initiate the formation of a temporary unit association and hold elections for the following positions:

  1. President;
  2. Secretary; and,
  3. Treasurer.

Please complete the form if you are interested in serving a unit association in your area.  (Note: only areas that are not currently registered and recognized by the GSA-UW will be listed.)
