Call for Nominations: GSA Director Election

The GSA-UW is now accepting nominations for the upcoming Board of Directors election to fill nine (9) vacant positions. Specifically four (4) one year directorships are available from May 1, 2019 to April 30, 2020, and five (5) two year directorships from May 1, 2019 to April 30, 2021. Official notice is hereby served for the election to fill the vacancies of the GSA Board of Directors.

Call for Nominations: Speaker of the Council

The Graduate Student Association - University of Waterloo Council, the social, political, and academic body of the GSA, is calling for nominations for the position of Speaker of the Council. 

Interested individuals are invited to submit a résumé or CV and a statement expressing their qualifications and interest in the position by noon on Monday, March 18.  Nominees will be invited to meet with the Council Executive Committee to determine suitability for the position.  An election for the position will be held at Council on Wednesday, April 10 at 4pm.

The Graduate Student Association (GSA), in conjunction with the Feds and the Office of the President, are recognizing student leaders at the University of Waterloo through the President, Feds, and GSA Leadership Awards. Recipients of the awards will have demonstrated exemplary leadership skills in various ways at the University of Waterloo and/or in the surrounding community.
