Indi is a Master’s student in the School of Environment, Enterprise, and Development. Her research focuses on the potential connections between fintech (financial technology) models, impact investments that seek positive social-ecological impacts as well as financial returns, and the Canadian credit union sector.
As an undergraduate at the University of Ottawa, Indi was highly involved in the students’ union. Her involvement included chairing different local and provincial committees, in both official languages (FR/EN), as well as volunteering, and offering support for various outreach programs. Moreover, her previous professional experiences with the Franco-Ontarian Youth Federation, Citizens Academy of Ottawa, and the Franco-Ontarian Students’ Association have provided her with skills such as community outreach, communication, leadership development, and event management.
On campus, she is a member of the organizing collective of Cinema Politica Waterloo. This initiative screens engaging documentaries committed to the promotion of social and environmental justice.
Indi is looking forward to working closely with the graduate student community in the hopes of bettering their overall experience as students. If you have any feedback or suggestions relating to communications and marketing, please do not hesitate to contact her!
