Photo of Isidora SidorovskaAs a doctoral student at the School of planning my work is focused on improving the effectiveness and efficiency of nonprofit organizations by streamlining their planning processes. My PhD came as a logical continuation to over 10 years of executive and consultancy experience in civil society across Southeastern Europe, mostly focusing on capacity building and strategic development of a variety of human service and advocacy organizations.

In my role as member of the GSA Board I hope to further contribute to building a dynamic, engaging and proactive organization, one that invites participation and authentically represents the needs and interests of all UWaterloo graduate students and in this way enhances the quality and enjoyment of the overall graduate student experience.
