Richard O'Brien

Richard O'Brien portrait.I am a Master's student in Kinesiology studying Neuroscience. My research is focusing on the acute effects of exercise on cognitive functioning. I hope to be able to expand the field by using new data analysis methods to extract more information out of the data that is collected.

I am passionate about representing graduate students here at Waterloo. I believe that there is a need for transparency and openness so that we can discuss student issues. I also believe that it would be useful to collect data on graduate students perception of their experience here so that we can make decisions addressing the weaknesses with evidence. I look forward to learning more about the GSA and contributing to improving the graduate student experience here at Waterloo.
