Legal aid is provided each term by the Graduate Student Association. Graduate students registered in the current academic term may consult with our lawyer - Nazma Niger, by attending the GSA Legal Aid Clinic.

The GSA Legal Aid Clinic is a walk-in service and graduate students are seen on a pre-scheduled time for a .  The clinic will be held at  minute session at the Graduate House for the Winter 2020 term and begins at 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.  

(Please note: Immigration issues, student academic issues, or issues that are of a criminal nature are not eligible for consultation at the GSA Legal Aid clinic.)

The next GSA Legal Aid Clinics will be held on the following date - January 30th, 2020 from 1:00pm-3:00pm at the Grad House Boardroom. Please contact to book an appointment.


Effecitve Fall 2019, members who opt-out of the Advising Services fee are welcome to use GSA’s legal advising services but will be charged a $50/hr fee for service (subject to change without notice) at the time of each appointment.
