A scholarship values at $1,500 will be awarded annually to a graduate student registered full time in the first year of a thesis-based Master's program in the Faculty of Engineering. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of scholastic excellence (minimum 1st class cumulative average required in the last program completed). Preference will be given to International student who previously received a formal education in India. The Faulty of Engineering will identify candidates and select recipients each Fall. A scholarship application is not required. This fund is made possible by a donation from Devani Charities in memory of Pradeep Anand, MASc 1974 Electrical Engineering alumnus.

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is centralized within our Office of Indigenous Relations.
